About Meadhbh Walsh
Rooted in traditional Irish folk music and heartfelt storytelling, Meadhbh is an Irish singer-songwriter from County Cork bringing an authentic, fresh voice to audiences across Ireland and beyond.
From busking as a teenager to creating an online community
Meadhbh began her musical path busking on the streets of Killarney as a teenager, sharing her love for traditional Irish ballads with passers-by. During lockdown, she started Friday night live streams from home, singing folk songs that quickly resonated with listeners and blossomed into a warm, dedicated global following. Since then, her journey has included national television appearances, tours across the USA, and collaborating with artists she has long admired.
The next chapter and tour
Currently in the studio recording her upcoming debut album of all-original material, Meadhbh is preparing to take these new stories directly to the stage. With an extensive Irish tour scheduled for 2027, she looks forward to gathering in person with supporters old and new to share this exciting musical adventure.
"Building a sound of my own while staying connected to the traditions that shaped me."
